It meets the TSA requirements for handgun security in luggage. It has a TriPoint locking system that features 3 points of contact with three 1/2" wide steel locking lugs. The interior is padded. The exterior measures 10.25" x 8" x 3" and the interior measures 9.75" x 7.5" x 2.25".
