Rules

- All entries must be legally harvested during the 2010 hunting season

- Deer must be harvested in any of the following Ohio counties: Richland, Ashland, Morrow, Knox, Huron, Seneca or Crawford.

- All entries must be brought to the Sportsman's Den with body still intact (field dressed only)

- Qualifying youth participants must be 15 years of age or younger

- Archery entries will end Sunday November 28th before gun season

- Gun season entries will begin November 29th through Sunday December 5th, December 18th & 19th

- Muzzleloader season (Jan 8th - Jan 11th 2011) WILL NOT be included in this contest

- Youth deer harvested November 20th or 21st will automatically be entered in the youth gun division

- Top entries in each division will be contacted and invited back to the Sportsman's Den to be scored by Official Ohio Big Buck personnel on a date to be announced

- Due to time restrictions only the best entries in each division will be scored on the scoring night

- Racks MUST be present on scoring night to win

- Winners will be determined by best score above the minimum book requirements.

    -Book Requirements     

         - Ohio Big Buck Minimum Requirements          140 Typical   160 Non-Typical          

- Example A deer scoring 145 Typical is 5 points above the Ohio Big Buck minimum      

                    A deer scoring 164 Non-Typical is 4 points above the Ohio Big Buck minimum                               

            Thus, the typical deer scoring 5 points over the minimum is the winner.
